Azure SQL (Lumel Managed DB)

You can configure a writeback destination in Azure SQL Database that exists inside & owned by Lumel EPM tenant. Recommended for POC purposes only. Users who have difficulties in setting up a database within their tenant are welcome to use this feature to understand Lumel EPM's writeback functionalities and perform test writebacks for POC purposes.

Terms of Service while using Lumel Managed DB

  • Lumel strongly recommends using this connection only for POC purposes and not for actual production data.

  • The database will be created and managed by Lumel. Only after a successful writeback can you access the database.

  • When you add a destination, the detail screen will display unique credentials to access the table, which cannot be used to connect to another table.

  • Lumel reserves the right to disable creating destinations using the managed database connection if we find the usage limit is exhausted or overused. In such an event, you can delete the existing destinations to reclaim the usage limit.

  • The workspace admin reserves the right to disable the managed database connection or delete the destination at any time. If this occurs, the destination(s) and all related data will be cleared and cannot be recovered. We highly recommend taking periodic backups of your data stored in this database.
