1. Create bridge
A bridge is a workspace environment where you can integrate multiple reports from different data sources and transform them as required. Each bridge has an editor interface for data transformation. This unified interface enables data consolidation, real-time planning, and collaboration.
As outlined below, a planning sheet report can be used to create a bridge:
Creating bridge from an EPM sheet
STEP 1: On your Lumel EPM planning sheet, click Add Source to Bridge from the InfoBridge tab.

STEP 2: By default, all native and inserted measures are added to the bridge. In the pop-up that appears below, you can remove some of the measures and scenarios that are not required for the bridge. Click Add.
This allows you to regulate how much data you want to transfer to the bridge.

STEP 3: After you confirm, the Infobridge screen will appear automatically. A new query will be generated for the current planning sheet you've added to the bridge.

When you hover over the query name and click on the menu, you will see options to rename, delete, rerun the job, duplicate the query, copy the query ID, and so on.

This Infobridge interface also allows you to add new queries to the bridge, either from an existing planning data source ('Add Query' option) or from a new one ('Add Source'). Learn more about adding sources to a bridge.
Using the gear icon highlighted below, you can access this newly created bridge at any time to transform data, add new queries or sources, write back the integrated data, and so on.

In the upcoming sections, we will explore how to add sources to the bridge, integrate measures and rows into a target planning sheet, and manage integrations.
